The citizenship test has 20 questions, and you need 15 correct to pass. Every question comes from Discover Canada, the official study guide. Practising on questions in the same format is the most reliable way to feel calm on the day.
How to practise with CitiQuiz
- Timed simulation: 20 questions against the clock in the official format. It is the closest rehearsal and is free.
- Practice mode: pick 5, 10, 20 or 30 questions by chapter, region or topic, with an explanation after every answer.
- Every question shows the page of Discover Canada it comes from, so a wrong answer sends you straight to the passage to read.
- The free plan includes 20 graded questions a day. Elite is a one-time $15 and removes the limit.
A good order to study in
- Take the 25-question diagnostic once to see which chapters are weak.
- Practise your weakest chapters, then read those pages of the guide.
- Finish with two or three timed simulations. Aim to score 17 or more, so that nerves cannot cost you the pass.
